Inner Security
Most of the time, inner security is not something we stumble upon by accident. It’s something we’ve cultivated, often after living without it for far too long. For many of us, the journey toward inner security begins in seasons of doubt, uncertainty, transition, fear, or recovery. It begins when old timelines dissolve and we realize that the way we have been bracing, controlling, or surviving is no longer sustainable or doable.
Inner Security as a spiritual and energetic foundation is a spiritual and embodiment practice. Not as a concept, but as a lived inner condition. Inner security is the felt sense that you are held, guided, and supported, even when life feels uncertain. It’s what allows expansion to happen without destabilizing the nervous system or fracturing your sense of self.
Inner security is safety from the inside out.
Inner Security as an Inner Condition
One of the most important shifts we explored in class is understanding inner security as an inner condition, not an external guarantee. It is not dependent on circumstances being perfect or life being predictable. It’s about choosing the vibrations of assurance, equanimity, and divine trust over disempowerment.
True inner security for me developed when I began to realize that at a deep level, I am divinely held and guided. This realization is what allows me to wait well, to this day.
It’s what steadies you when timelines shift. It’s what keeps you anchored when something is ending and something new has not yet fully formed. This is especially important during seasons of transition. When timelines dissolve, the nervous system often interprets change as threat. Inner security teaches the body and spirit that change does not mean danger. It means movement and becoming.

From Survival Mode to Safety
A small but important note here. In my recent Substack article, I wrote about survival mode and what it took to move out of it. Survival mode is often where inner insecurity takes our hand forward. When you have lived in prolonged survival, your system learns to stay vigilant, braced, and guarded, and safety can become something you search tirelessly, and sometimes blindly, for outside yourself.
Inner security is the reeducation of that system. It is the slow, consistent work of teaching the body and spirit that you are no longer living in threat. That you are allowed to breathe easy and soften. That you are allowed to trust again. This is not about bypassing pain or pretending everything is fine. It’s about grounding yourself deeply enough that growth does not feel like collapse, but a new, higher timeline emerging.
Inner security allows you to expand without self-abandoning, without shrinking, and without overcontrolling the process.
Waiting Well Requires Inner Security
Waiting well is not possible without inner security. When you do not feel safe, aligned, or divinely guided, waiting feels unbearable. It feels like stagnation or punishment. With inner security, waiting becomes a deeply meaningful and active space. It becomes a time of preparation, integration, and spiritual maturity. It’s full of power.
Waiting well means staying grounded during fluctuation phases. It means remaining in your power and peace while something necessary dissolves and something new emerges. It means joyfully expecting rebirth without forcing its timeline.
Inner security is what allows you to remain present without panic and hopeful without desperation.

Questions for Reflection and Contemplation
What does inner security actually feel like in my body? Inner security often feels like steadiness rather than butterflies, anxiousness, fear, or manipulation. It may feel quiet. It may feel like your breathing deepens or your body softens into its power. Noticing how safety registers in your body helps you cultivate it intentionally.
Where have I been relying on control instead of trust? Control often masks insecurity. When you identify where you are too tightly gripping instead of trusting, you create space to practice assurance, equanimity, surrender, and release. There is deep, magnetic power in ease and surrendering versus gripping onto things too tight tightly.
What part of my life is asking for grounding instead of fear, low self-worth, or limiting beliefs? What are you calling in right now? What are you desiring to manifest, heal, or step into?
Some situations and timelines are not asking you to rush forward, prove yourself, be perfect, have it all figured out, or brace for impact or failure. They are asking you to calm your precious self and stabilize internally, energetically, spiritually, and subconsciously before taking the next steps. Where might you still be operating from fear or old survival patterns instead of divine trust? Are you waiting well? What limiting beliefs can you stop believing and consciously leave behind? What are you doing well and what is powerfully working? How can you celebrate yourself? How can you begin trusting the unknown and walk into it with steadiness rather than fear?
How can I create safety from the inside out today? This might look like nervous system care, prayer, deep rest, bathing in magnesium flakes or Epsom salt, or choosing not to overextend yourself. Inner security grows through consistent, embodied choices. It is also strengthened by what you courageously say yes to through aligned action. What choice today supports your sense of safety, trust, and inner assurance?
Here are the magnesium bath flakes I shared in class. Magnesium flakes and Epsom salt both support relaxation and grounding, though some people experience magnesium flakes as more deeply calming to the nervous system. Epsom salt tends to feel a bit gentler. They offer slightly different experiences, so choose what feels most supportive for your body and energy.
Both magnesium flakes and Epsom salt are often used as conduits for release, supporting the body in letting go of excess tension, stress, and energetic residue held through the day. The warm water, combined with mineral support, can help the system soften and reset.
Practicing Inner Security Daily
Inner security is reinforced through small, daily practices, grounding yourself, nervous system care, prayer time, contemplation, aligned action, divine trust, and choosing equanimity when old survival responses arise.
This is not about perfection or control. It’s about knowing you are held and guided, even when you do not have all the answers or see the full picture yet.
May your inner security deepen. May your trust strengthen. May your nervous system find rest. And may your becoming feel supported, not judged, rushed, and unaligned.
May your inner security hold both endings and beginnings with grace.
